Paul Kubin, MS, PA-C, is a physician assistant and the founder and publisher of Inside PA Training (www.mypatraining.com). The website garners 3 million visits per year, and through his work as a PA school admissions coach and student advocate he has helped hundreds of eager students join the PA profession.
He has served as a consultant to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics on the subject of PA school careers, and is the author of Crafting a Winning PA School Essay, The Physician Assistant Interview: Essential Strategies to Blow 'Em Away and Claim Your Seat in Class, and over 100 articles on PA topics.
Before becoming a PA, Paul worked as a psychotherapist with families and teens in the San Francisco Bay Area. He practices urgent care in Santa Rosa, California.

Lisa K. Walker, MPAS, PA-C, has been a PA educator since 1997. She has worked clinically in family practice and correctional medicine. She has started and run multiple PA programs and in that capacity has reviewed thousands of applications and interviewed hundreds of PA candidates.
Her teaching has focused on health disparities, cultural competency, patients with disabilities, and patient communication. She is the author of a chapter on patients with disabilities in the widely used text Physician Assistant: A Guide to Clinical Practice, now in its sixth edition.
Active in the PA Education Association, Lisa has served on the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion, the PAEA Cultural Competencies Committee, and as feature editor of “Medicine through the Arts” in the Journal of Physician Assistant Education.
